Aunt Flo Is Dead… How Do We Feel About That?

August 24th, 2022 by wiseone

I thought I would perform stand-up about menopause. Then realized I was a chicken shit and switched it to a blog. At some point, I decided I should perform my menopause rants and signed up for a small and far away Fringe Festival on Prince Edward Island where I could perform anonymously and get it out of my system. Unfortunately, the festival logistics proved to be too expensive and I couldn't do it and exhaled for the first time since I'd signed up.

Next, my silly husband suggested I find a fringe festival in our time zone so that I could continue working if I was accepted to the festival. And the first festival to accept me was San Francisco, where I knew lots of people. So much for anonymity. [Insert panic.]
